Native Species Weekend 2008

19th - 20th April 2008

Why not join Dublin Zoo and a host of other conservation organisations for a fun-filled weekend of learning and discovery. During the weekend you can meet with many of Ireland’s native wildlife experts and learn more about our flora and fauna. There’ll be plenty to keep kids (and adults alike) busy with touch-tables, visitors from the sea and hands-on activates!

A wide variety of organisations will be present such as BirdWatch Ireland, the Irish Wildlife Trust, Crann, Irish Peatland Conservation Council and National Sealife Bray to name just a few. These organisations will be setting up interactive information stands and also running workshops throughout the weekend. And, Don Conroy shall also be present on Sunday afternoon to run a drawing workshop!
